We are a nonprofit organization, and we donate 100% of our profits to veteran suicide prevention. This means that every dollar we receive goes directly towards supporting programs and initiatives aimed at saving the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our nation.
My story
Coming home from the military was supposed to be the easy part, but for me, it was anything but. I had spent years in uniform, carrying out missions that demanded every ounce of focus and courage I could muster. But when I took off that uniform, I found myself lost, disconnected, and battling an enemy I hadn’t trained for: the mental and emotional weight of transitioning back into civilian life.
The camaraderie, the structure, the sense of purpose—it was all gone. I felt like a stranger in my own life. The world kept moving, but I was stuck, trapped in a loop of memories and emotions I couldn’t escape. I struggled to find something that made me feel whole again, something that could bridge the gap between who I was then and who I needed to become now.
That’s when I discovered mushrooms—not just as food, but as a tool for healing and growth. I started small, researching their natural benefits, learning about their ancient history as medicine, and exploring their potential for mental health. It was like a door opened, offering me a new way to reconnect with myself and the world around me.
Growing mushrooms became a ritual. It grounded me, gave me a purpose, and taught me patience. The process was therapeutic: watching them grow from a tiny spore into something vibrant and alive mirrored the transformation I was seeking in myself.
