My story
Coming home was supposed to be the easy part.
But it wasn’t.
I left the military thinking I’d find peace. Instead, I felt lost.
No structure. No purpose. No brotherhood.
The Struggle
I was stuck in my own head trapped in memories I couldn’t shake.
Civilian life didn’t make sense.
I couldn’t just “move on” like people expected.
What Helped
That’s when I found mushrooms.
Not recreational. Not a trend.
Just something real, natural and ancient.
I started learning. Growing.
And it gave me something I hadn’t felt in a long time:
